I just had my wedding on the beach as a guest of the motel. My experience could not have been more lovely. If you are looking for the charm of old Florida, this is your place. We had driven by for ten years and finally made the leap to stay.
Sarah, Heather and the other wonderful ladies up front made our stay so wonderful. They checked several times to make sure there was nothing I needed during my "prep." I knew if I needed anything at all, one of them would find it for me.
The rooms. Oh my word THE ROOMS. Not a single one is identical to any other room. They are all different and it is so refreshing! I stayed in the Sunrise Room facing the ocean and it was absolutely beautiful. You get a key in the form of an old relic, an actual key!
The owner herself, Audrey, sent a magnificent bridal arrangement that was waiting in my room upon arrival. I cried.
The pool is adorable. The tiny circle kiddie pool from days of yore is precious. There is an actual shuffleboard court which we did not get to partake in as we ran out of time. We took several of our wedding photos on the grounds and I cannot wait to get them back.
There is NO other place like this in Daytona Beach or the Shores. I'm counting the days until I can retire and take out a timeshare with these lovely folks. You will fall in love with the grounds and the staff immediately.

The Tropical manor is an amazing hotel super clean completely renovated. We stayed there 40 years ago and returned in October 2023 to find it so well maintained and great staff we can’t think of one bad thing to say . We will be back next year. We travelled with a large dog and the unit they provided felt like home.
